Tiger Bay Culture Festival

Thank you to everyone who came along to join in the fun at our recent festival and for giving feedback on the Community Cinema planned for Loudoun Square.

The event took place at Canal Park in Butetown on Wednesday 31st August between 11.00am until 7.00pm and activities included local and international music, and cultural performances including Li Harding and the Gary Phillips Trio, Lord Elpus, Big Mac’s Wholly Soul Band, performances from Somali, Indian and Yemeni cultural dancers and singers and lots of activities for children.

Visitors also had the chance to comment on our plans for the new community space and public art projects in Loudoun Square.
