CCHA was established in 1996 and is an Industrial and Provident Society with charitable status. We formed when Adamsdown Housing Association and Moors Housing Association decided to merge. Between them, Adamsdown and Moors have been providing homes in Cardiff for over 30 years. We are a non-profit organisation that is registered and supervised by the Welsh Assembly Government.
We receive money from the Assembly, but we also borrow from banks and building societies. This is because the Assembly only covers half the cost of building new homes.
We believe in equal opportunity. We want to make sure that all groups or individuals are given an equal opportunity in housing.
By investing in our staff and maintaining a focus on our customers, as recognised by Investor in People accreditation and Charter Mark status, we can respond to the challenges and opportunities that will face us with confidence.
